Why should I submit my Photography Website here?

1. Links to your site from other related websites can help your search engine rankings. Our links are SEO friendly meaning you will receive some link juice (technical term) that will help your website.

2. Clients may be looking for a certain type of photographer in this directory. If you're not listed you can't be found!

Why are there paid options?

We offer a FREE listing for your photography business. However, if you want to have your website appear above all the normal listings, we offer a £10 Featured Listing option. This will provide you with greater exposure for potential clients.

 

Guidelines For Submitting Your Photo Business

The Photography Archives Directory is soley focussed on Photographic businesses and will not include any sites unrelated. We want to keep this a useful resource for clients and photographers alike.

When you submit a photo website for inclusion on this directory, you agree to abide by the following policies. Failure to understand and follow these instructions may result in the rejection or removal of your listing. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure that your site conforms to these guidelines. Sites not meeting these criteria may be removed without notice and in the case of paid submission, no refunds will be given.

Content

Websites that promote or contain the following types of content will not be accepted under any circumstances; Furthermore, sites that are found to actively link to third-party sites with such content will also be rejected:

Adult / Pornography / Escort Services / Indecent Activity

Hate / Crime / Violence

Conterfeit / Replica goods

Anti-religions / Anti-semetic

Copyright Infringement

 

Any site that is found to infringe on, or violate a person's rights, or contain material that promotes/disseminates illegal activities will be reported to relevent authorities. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content and activities on your site are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. 

Site Availability

The Photography Archives regularly checks the availability of submitted sites and as such, sites that are constantly offline or in an unfinished state may, at our descretion, be temporarly disabled or removed completely from our database and search results. This is done to ensure accurate and reliable results when a user searches our photography site, as well as protect Page Rank and SERPS placements for both your site and ours. If you expect your site to be offline for a considerable amount of time, please contact us and we will suspend your site from our listing until you advise us otherwise. Paid submissions will only ever be suspended and can be reactivated at any time by request. However, The Photography Archives will endeavour to contact the owner of these sites well before any suspension takes place.

Submission Information

Please ensure any information you enter into the submission form is complete and accurate. We will endeavor to correct submission errors for paid listings, but free listings will be rejected if too many errors are evident. Although we do our best to check all submissions, we cannot be held responsible for errors in listings that were made when the form was completed. 

TITLE: This MUST be your official website or business name. Keyword-stuffed titles will be rejected.

URL: This must be your top-level domain. This means your homepage url rather than a subpage.

DESCRIPTION: Your site description should be accurate and consise with no false claims. We offer you 1500 characters for your description which we encourage you to take advantage of as it will help your listing in the search engines. Do not stuff it with useless information though – remember, clients may be reading it too! We reserve the right to amend your description if we feel it needs improving.

CATEGORY PLACEMENT: Please select the category that most closely represents your photography website. We may move submissions to other categories if we feel the wrong category has been chosen. You will be notified of this.

EMAIL: Your email address must be live and monitored. Upon submission we send you an email to notify you of the submission and whether it has been approved or not.

Removal or Alterations

If you find you wish to have your photo website removed or edited please use the contact form to advise us of the changes. If you remove a paid submission, we do not offer any refunds, unless a genuine error has occurred.
